How We Review Prop Firms
Every review follows the same process, so firms can be compared like for like.
1. Rules, pricing and payouts come from the firm itself
Challenge rules (profit targets, daily and maximum drawdown, time limits, minimum trading days), standard pricing, payout methods, payout policies, firm rules and restricted countries are taken from each firm’s official website, help centre and terms. Prices are standard, non-promotional rates for the default plan unless marked otherwise.
2. Ratings come from Trustpilot — we do not score firms ourselves
The star rating and review count on each page are copied from the firm’s Trustpilot profile at the time of our last update, unchanged. We do not publish our own numeric score. If Trustpilot has flagged or suspended a firm’s rating, we say so on the review page.
3. Pros and cons reflect both sides
The pros and cons summarise recurring themes in the firm’s own terms and in Trustpilot reviews — including complaints such as payout denials, account breaches or support problems. We do not remove negative points because a firm is an affiliate partner.
4. How the homepage is ordered
- Firms are ordered by Trustpilot score, with review volume as the tie-breaker. The first firm is marked Top Pick.
- Firms we no longer recommend are marked Not recommended, always listed last, and carry no referral links.
- You can re-sort by number of reviews or alphabetically at any time.
5. Discount codes and offers
Codes and offers are the ones available through our partner links at the time of our last update. Firms change promotions often, so always confirm the final price on the firm’s checkout page.
6. Updates
Each review shows a “Last updated” date. It changes only when that firm’s data on the page changes, not every time the site is rebuilt.
7. Firms we no longer recommend
If a firm fails to honour payments — to traders or to us as a partner — or shows serious unresolved problems, we stop recommending it. We remove every referral link and discount code for that firm and explain the reason at the top of its review, with the date.
8. Affiliate relationships
We earn commissions from some firms when readers sign up through our links. This is how the site is funded; it is disclosed on every page and does not affect the facts above.
